Jesse Brown for Congress Campaign Announces “Real Jobs Tour”
Candidate To Work Side By Side With Workers On The Job
PLYMOUTH – The Jesse Brown for Congress Campaign announced today that Brown will tour the 9th Congressional District working side by side with other residents in their occupations.
Dubbed the “Real Jobs Tour,” some of the industries Brown will join workers in include construction, healthcare, manufacturing, as well as other leading industries in the district.
The tour began yesterday as Brown returned to his roots and joined a crew working to install antennas and mounts in a rooftop enclosure. Brown plans to continue this leg of the tour with a cell tower climb to make repairs next week.
“Bill Keating is a life-long politician who has never had to worry about living paycheck to paycheck,” said Brown. “The 9th Congressional District deserves a representative who will stand with real people who work hard to provide for their families as Washington politicians, like Keating, play politics with their lives.”
Brown went on to say, “Keating rarely leaves his home in Washington, DC, except while campaigning, so he has no idea about the real-world challenges facing the hard-working people on the South Coast, South Shore, and the Cape and Islands. This District needs someone who will work just as hard for them as they work every day, not an empty suit who has only passed one bill in his decade in Congress.”
